Bryson & JT Will Bat Leadoff

The 2025 Ryder Cup tees off tomorrow with a sizzling Friday morning foursomes lineup, as captains Keegan Bradley (USA) and Luke Donald (Europe) unveiled their alternate-shot pairings in a tense Thursday announcement.

In a blockbuster move, Team USA captain Bradley paired Bryson DeChambeau with Justin Thomas for Friday’s Ryder Cup foursomes, uniting two emotional firebrands and two-time major champions, both in their early 30s, to lead off against Europe’s most experienced pair: Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton.

The American duo’s shared intensity and big-stage experience promise a high-octane start at Bethpage Black, aiming to ignite the home crowd and set the tone for the U.S. squad’s redemption bid.

The action kicks off at 7:10 a.m. ET, pitting powerhouse pairs in a format where each team shares one ball and alternates strokes. Here’s the full slate:

Notable sit-outs include USA’s Cameron Young — native New Yorker — slated for afternoon four-balls, and Europe’s Shane Lowry.

“These pairings set the tone — expect birdies, banter, and maybe a blowup or two,” said NBC’s Brad Faxon.

With rain clearing and crowds swelling (President Trump appearing onsite), Friday’s session could swing the 28-point race. Afternoon pairings drop post-morning play.
