In a stunning display of precision and a touch of luck, Graeme McDowell has etched his name into LIV Golf lore by sinking hole-in-ones in consecutive weeks. The 2010 U.S. Open champion first aced the par-3 5th hole at the HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong event on March 6, a 192-yard shot that helped propel him to a top-10 (T8) finish at 14-under par. His Smash GC team also claimed runner-up honors that week.
Fast forward just seven days to the Aramco LIV Golf Singapore, and McDowell did it again. On Friday, during the second round at the par-3 second hole, the Northern Irishman delivered another perfect tee shot, becoming the first player in LIV Golf history to record multiple aces, and in back-to-back tournaments, no less. The feat contributed to his round of 70, leaving him tied for 15th at 3 under.
